Beautiful necklace, perfect name

October 14th, 2007 Joe

Sarah of The Beaded Lily on Etsy, using one of my focal beads has created this beautiful asymmetrical necklace. Paired with accentuating blue agate, rainbow moonstones, and Egyptian silver beads. Finished off with Egyptian silver spacers, seed beads, color-lined cubes, and hand formed sterling silver hook clasp.

She has aptly named this beautiful piece “Sky” which I think is very fitting. Be sure and check out this piece as well as the rest of the work in her Etsy store.

New Product!

October 6th, 2007 Joe

glass lampwork toggleIf you are a necklace maker and are always striving to make your necklaces stand out from the rest. How about using a glass toggle? I am pretty sure that would do the trick nicely. Each one, like any handmade glass piece is one of kind, making them and the necklace they are used in even more unique. They work like any other metal toggle, but these should really be used in the front of the necklace as the focal point of the piece. If you prefer however, they can be used at the back of the neck as well. But really, who would want to hide such a fabulous and unique piece of the necklace! :)

Expect lots more of these, in a large array of colors and styles in my Etsy store soon! If you have any color combos you would like to see for sale, be sure and post a comment.

Out with the old….

August 10th, 2007 Joe

…and in with the new.

I just recently added a new “clearance” section to my etsy store. So now is your chance to get some some great beads at super low prices. If you don’t see something you want in that section keep checking back. I will be adding additional beads as I go through my inventory.

I guess you could call this my early fall cleaning. I am trying to clean up and move out my older beads to make way for all the new goodies on the way. So show me some love and help clean out my bead box :)
