Todays bead auctions Loving the Window Jars!
Mar 03

Last week was a really busy and messed up week. I feel like I could sleep for the next week and still not be rested. No matter how tired I am though, it seems that when I light that torch my energy is restored and I’m ready to work for hours on end.

We haven’t been able to broadcast as much as we usually do and I miss it and all of my watchers! We did get to broadcast last night finally, feels like its been forever.

And here are the goods from last night…

My style seems to change very often, jumping from one idea to the next. This new little adventure I am on I refer to as “scallop” focals. They have offset twists on both sides and scalloped edges. They are textural pieces and are fun to touch and look at. This newest one is really pretty with its silvery organic base and iridescent blue shards.

This focal is now up for auction at ebay. Clicking on the photo will take you directly to the listing.

The second bead that I made was one that I had know idea was going to end up the way it did. I was actually going to make another scalloped bead but as most of you know, the glass sometimes takes a different direction all on its own. I was poking and prodding, squeezing and carving, and before I knew it, this really cool tribal-esqe bead came to life. Very neat! I think I may have to play around with this style further.

This focal is also up for auction at eBay. Clicking on the photo will take you directly to the listing.

Last but not least, another off mandrel pendant. This is a pretty decent sized pendant. Its an upside down tear drop with a gorgeous marbling of blues, greens, and tans. I haven’t decided yet If I want to sell this one or keep it for myself :)

Thanks for looking and don’t forget, comments are much appreciated! I like to hear what everyone is thinking and getting feedback. Time to get my butt in the studio and start things in motion for tonight.
