Name these shards contest!

Friday, March 7th, 2008

un-named shardsI had a name block for these shards and couldn’t think of anything catchy for them. So I thought it would be a good idea to run a little contest to find a name for these beautiful shards. I have selected the top 10 names of all those submitted and it is now time for you all to decide what these shards will be named. The individual who submitted the winning name will be receiving a free .5 ounce package of these shards. This poll will run till March 14th 11:59pm. These shards and many more are also available for purchase in my Etsy store.

Medallion Pendants

Tuesday, March 4th, 2008

Moon MedallionYay! Another new design. Fresh out of the kiln are these beautiful one of a kind pendants. They are fairly large pieces and very noticeable that are sure to make a statement. I wore one the other day and people that I was talking to or passing by couldn’t help but look and comment, love it when that happens. They really are a good conversational piece.

evil eye medallionI was doing something else at the torch and like most of my ideas it triggered something in my head. Of course now with this new style of pendant, comes with it a flurry of design ideas that is going to take awhile for me to digest and make it a reality. I can see lots of beautiful floral, landscape, abstract, and organic designs in my head and pretty much daydream about the ideas non stop. Right now I’m in or sort of abstract organic mode until I think out the other possibilities with these pendants. Now I wish I had more than a couple hours a day to work on the torch. It’s going to take me forever to make all the designs that I am envisioning.
